Occasionally, I have a package to deliver to Seth on my route, and whenever I do, it’s always a pleasure to stop in and have a conversation with him. You can immediately tell how passionate he is about baking, and it shines through in everything he makes. Every time I visit, he shows incredible hospitality and never lets me leave without something to enjoy. I haven’t tried a single thing that wasn’t delicious. Highly recommend
Bakery items I had were excellent! Had the peanut brittle, baklava, baklava pecan pie, and macarons. That baklava pecan pie was out of sight! It was the standout although everything else was good, too. Yummy!
They are amazing, respectful, and honestly this is by far one of the most hospitable establishments I ever went into!!!! Do not miss you opportunity to try the best baklava desserts and macarons! They also have soups that are so good, my kids literally love everything!
Stumbled across this place with a google search and it ended up being the best macaroons we've ever had! He had soooo many different flavors I wanted to try them all!!! And the tiny Macaroon vending machine was Awesome!! Ended up getting a jar of tiny hearts and we ate half of them on the way home 😆 all the favors were perfect! The owner is so nice and welcoming. We will definitely be back!
Super friendly, great ingredients, and best of all of the desserts that I ordered were FIRE. (Various macarons, baklava, and tiramisu) Very unique selection of specialty desserts, a portion of my monthly salary will be going directly here.
I met the owner on Sunday at a craft/local business show. I had a very good conversation with him about his bakery. I bought a little bit of everything and it was some of the best desserts I've ever had. The baklava, m&m brownies, and baklava pecan pie were all amazing! I cannot wait to visit his shop and buy more. Support local!
Wow! This place is special. They put so much passion into it, using organic non-GMO ingredients and the desserts are exceptional. Best macarons I’ve had in Ohio and the candied orange is delicious too!
I scheduled a last-minute macaron class with Seth (literally, he accommodated my group DAY OF REQUEST on a Saturday of all days!). For his classes, you truly get the first-class experience. It's a private class with your small group only. He closes the bakery so it's uninterrupted time with him in his kitchen. And every person gets to make their own batch of macarons from start to finish! For our group of 3, we spent over 4 hours in there and he showed us each special techniques for how we wanted our macarons to both look and taste. And don't think you're walking in there and picking a flavor off a list of 6 types...if you can dream it, you can make it. My MIL made a salted caramel chocolate (with chocolate ganache) flavor. My SIL made a bourbon maple old fashioned flavor. And I used his prized homemade lemon curd for a lemon bar flavor. So much fun! When you're here, there are no silly questions. You'll get as much help as you need - or as much space for creativity as you want. We all had varied levels of comfort in the kitchen and all had a blast. Just go in with an open mind and know that you'll feel like you're in a home bakery, not a commercial kitchen. For the record, my husband and I have taken cooking classes around the world. We really enjoy it. But this is the only experience I've had where I got to do EVERY single step myself, so I could gain comfort and confidence with every part of it and get my questions asked. And what a special thing that he gave us his personal number, as his students, so we could reach out for problem-solving and answers if needed in the future. Did I mention that these macarons are perfect and delicious? Everyone back home LOVED them! Seriously amazing. Wow! I bought tiramisu, baclava, milk pie, and macarons. They were all wonderful! My husband and neighbor agreed! I asked Seth if he had tiramasu, and he said no, but we can make some right now! My sisters and I watched and asked questions. Seth was so very, very, kind! You must visit his shop, which is soon to be 4 miles down the road. Bring your friends . It’s a trip you will be VERY glad you made!
I had the pleasure of coming across their tent at a farmer's market. They had a wide selection of macarons, baklava, tiramisu, and other baked goods. I sampled their traditional baklava, blueberry baklava, maple bourbon baklava, and a salted caramel macaroni. Everything had a really good flavor. The macaroni was crispy on the outside and had gooey caramel on the inside. It was yummy. The baklava was the reason I stopped. It's not your typical baklava. It is a lot drier than any baklava I've ever had with a far more nuttier texture and flavor than what you normally get. I do think the blueberry and traditional baklava needs more honey. But it didn't stop me from ordering a second and third square of the blueberry. The maple bourbon doesn't utilize honey, as maple syrup is obviously substituted. The owner told me the story of how it came about. He was trying to find a substitute for a friend or family member, I forget exactly, who cannot eat honey. So he was looking for a substitute so they could experience baklava. For what it is, it's very yummy. Definitely my least favorite of the three, but for an alternative to the classic recipe it is delish. If I had to pick a favorite, it wouldn't definitely have been the blueberry. I typically stick to classic baklava, but man the blueberries were wonderful in it. The service was fantastic. Had a fun conversation with the owner and he was incredibly kind. Good people, good food, good conversation. Made for a wonderful experience at the farmer's market. Highly recommend.
